The installation and operation of AirMagnet Survey (software-only) requires separate hardware with one of the following minimum system requirements below.

The installation and operation of AirMagnet Survey (software-only) requires separate hardware with one of the following minimum system requirements below.

p>System Requirements for: LAPTOP/NOTEBOOK PC/TABLET PC

  • Operating Systems: Microsoft® Windows 7 Enterprise/Professional/Ultimate or Microsoft Windows 8 Pro/Enterprise 64-bit, Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro/Enterprise 64-bit, or Microsoft Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise 64-bit
  • Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.00 GHz ( Intel® Core™ i5 or higher recommended)
  • 4 GB or higher
  • 800 MB free hard disk space
  • Cardbus, ExpressCard slot, USB port or mini PCI slot (whichever applicable)
  • Multiple slots in the PC when using multiple adapters. AirMagnet recommends the use of its MULTI-ADAPTER KIT
  • AirMagnet-supported wireless network adapter(s)
  • Optional AirMagnet Spectrum XT adapter and license for integrated spectrum survey on Survey PRO. Required for viewing spectrum data and heat map
  • Microsoft® MapPoint 2004 or higher (required for running large-scale outdoor survey using the MapPoint integration feature; Survey PRO only)
  • Internet connection for using Microsoft® Bing Maps integration for outdoor surveys (Survey PRO only)
  • A site map in a format supported by AirMagnet Survey (supported formats are: .bmp, .dib, .dwg, .dxf, .emf, .gif, vsd, .jpg, .wmf, .vdx or .png)
  • Google Earth must be installed in order to export the GPS data for outdoor surveys to Google Earth (Survey PRO only
