Capable of flashing the light in sync with the operating machinery frequency, this stroboscope creates the illusion of viewing stopped or slowed images. Inspect machine parts and processes for defects using the phenomenon of slowing or stopping the motion with the adjusted rate of the flashing light and record the rotational speed of the machinery and systems for further performance analysis. In addition, switch off the backlit feature to save battery life if desired, and the LED technology extends operation due to the low energy requirement of the light diodes compared with xenon stroboscopes.
