This Micro Optical Power Meter is a standard power, compact, handheld device for testing fiber optic networks, measuring optical power from -70 to 10 dBm across multiple wavelengths. This has an integrated visual fault locator.
The Tempo Communications Micro Optical Power Meters (OPM210 and OPM220) are available in standard and high-power versions for the Telco and MSO markets. Absolute and referenced power measurements ensure fast and accurate loss budget and insertion loss measurements. Injected tones of 270Hz, 1kHz, and 2kHz from a compatible source can be used to positively identify fiber optic cables.
The Micro OPM supports wavelengths of 850, 980, 1270, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1577, 1625 and 1650nm.
