The Starrett 234A-1 End Measuring Rod with insulated handle and spherical ends allows you to easily set and check a 2" (50.8 mm) or larger micrometer and may also be used for comparing gauges, checking precision measuring tools and measuring parallel surfaces. The micrometer standard is made of rugged tool steel with a hardened design for added strength.
