Consisting of a top layer of static dissipative rubber laminated to a bottom layer of conductive rubber, the SCS 8810 Gray Table Mat, 2 ft. x 4 ft, includes two SCS 3034 Snap Fasteners and one SCS 3048 Wrist Strap Grounding System.
Both layers are made from vulcanized synthetic rubber, which offers excellent resistance to oil, grease and most common solvents. They offer superior resistance to heat and hot solder as compared to vinyl or olefinic materials. Non-standard sizes are available on a custom order basis. Dissipative table mats include two Snap Fasteners 3034 (installed) and one Wrist Strap Grounding System 3048.
A Better Way to Connect to The Ground
Dome style ground cords are made with a 10mm (0.395 in.) male threaded snap. Dome style ground cords are sometimes called a Floor Mat Ground, but they can be used on workbenches too.
With a screw and a washer installed from the bottom side of the mat, it allows the ground cord to be bolted to the mat to keep the cord from disconnecting; ensures proper grounding.

NOTE: Use a Punch or Phillips screw driver to create a hole in the mat.
