PolyScience 6000 Series Recirculating Chillers are designed to handle process temperatures from -10°C to 40°C (14°F to 104°F), making them ideal for many routine process cooling needs. To help optimize cooling efficiency for a particular application, they are available in a wide selection of cooling capacities, compressor sizes, and pump types.

All feature convenient "one-touch" temperature control and bright LED readouts which can be read easily-even from across the room-and let you check temperature set point and fluid flow rate and/or pressure with just a quick touch.

For added operational safety, PolyScience 6000 Series Chillers are equipped with audible and visual alarms that alert you instantly when operating parameters-such as fluid temperature or pressure, flow rate, or ambient temperature-exceed pre-set limits. There are even user-adjustable high and low temperature limits to help prevent unauthorized set point changes, plus built-in safeties to alert you to low fluid levels and thermal runaway.

Other features include an easy-to-use calibration function that allows you to adjust the chiller's temperature display to match a traceable temperature standard, as well as optional interfaces for various control functions, such as remote on/off and remote control.

How to select a pump type to fit your application needs:

Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump (M)

Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps produce high flow at low pressure, are very quiet, and require little maintenance. The fact that fluid flow can be restricted without pump damage makes this pump suitable for many applications.

Chillers equipped with a centrifugal pump attached to a device with a built in solenoid valve to shut off cooling flow also require an external bypass.

Positive Displacement Pump (P)

Positive Displacement Pumps produce moderate flow at high pressure and are most suited to applications where greater head pressure is needed, such as applications where fluid must be pumped some distance or where in-line pressure is required to activate flow devices.

Turbine Pump (T)

Turbine Pumps are typically used in applications requiring operation with higher head pressures (90 psi) and low to moderate flow rates ( 1 to 2 gpm).
