The Megger MSL10 is a simple to use instrument, designed to help locate the edges of wooden studs or metal joists and to indicate the presence of live AC cables through drywall or other common building materials. With clear LED and audible indication, the center of studs or joists can be located by scanning from either side to locate each edge. With three depth ranges available, the sensitivity can be adjusted to ensure accurate indication. The unit is supplied with a protective carry pouch that protects the wall contact pads to prevent marking or damaging any finished surface being scanned.
