With no moving parts the FWD has high resistance to fluids containing oil, vapor and dust. The wide rangeability of 1:60 allows for accurate measurements of even smaller flow rates. The built in battery (10 year life span) makes power line construction unnecessary. An external power supply of 24VDC is also available.
