The SR47 includes a wireless remote with a magnetic back and a bright blue backlight display that makes it easy to view the measurements of the scale. The remote has an improved rubber gasket design, a large display, an ergonomic design, and an 80-hour battery life. The remote can conveniently be stored in a handy niche on the bottom of the scale.

The SR47 Fieldpiece platform is made of thick aluminum to maintain accuracy, the integrated rubber pad and bumper protect the platform from impacts and accommodate large tanks. The platform has an IP54 rating allowing the refrigerant scale to be used in wet conditions. The SR47 platform has a battery life of over 200 hours and will power off after 30 minutes of no activity.
The Fieldpiece wireless refrigerant scale is compact, lightweight (about 7 pounds), and comes in a padded carrying case with a shoulder strap for ease in carrying up and down a ladder at a job site.
