Fonction
Les interrupteurs à flotteur ouvrent et ferment des contacts pour contrôler le passage du courant de signal, fonctionnant comme un interrupteur d'éclairage standard. Ils sont soit normalement fermés (le courant circule), soit normalement ouverts (le courant ne circule pas). L'état « normal » correspond au moment où l'interrupteur à flotteur est en position basse, reposant sur son câble ou sa butée de flotteur.
