The Fieldpiece micron gauge is a device used to measure the level of vacuum or evacuation in a system. A vacuum gauge also measures the level of dehydration and degassing of different machines including ACs, refrigerators, and deep freezers. Vacuum gauges play a crucial role in ensuring consistent, effective, and safe operation of a wide variety of systems, such as HVAC/R or refrigeration units.
The Fieldpiece MG44 digital micron gauge gives you three ways to reliably monitor your evacuation in the field. Long-range wireless technology sends deep vacuum measurements up to 1000 feet (305 meters) away. These measurements can be viewed on your SMAN refrigerant manifolds (SM380V or SM480V), in the Job Link App, or directly on the MG44 digital vacuum gauge.
The large backlit LCD screen is easier to read, and its dot-matrix display provides three different ways to monitor your evacuation: bar graph, rate, and rate meter.

Rate: The running 10-second average of the measurement’s charge per minute. Negative rates indicate the vacuum is getting deeper.

Rate Meter: The graphical representation of the measurement’s real-time change per minute. The scale is dynamic, making changes easy to see.

Bar Graph: The graphical representation of the measurement. The scale is static and nonlinear for increased resolution at deeper vacuums. Full bars indicate atmospheric pressure.

The Fieldpiece wireless vacuum gauge MG44 has a reversible coupler making it easy to connect the gauge directly to a service port or valve core removal tool. Each end of the reversible coupler has a valve depressor and gasket, so you can flip the coupler to best fit the system and your viewing angle.

The Fieldpiece vacuum gauge has programmable high and low alarms. When the vacuum reaches the low or high alarm set point, an audible alarm triggers and the backlight blinks. Activating the alarm mode allows you to work on other tasks at the job site, and the Fieldpiece MG44 alerts you when the system is ready.

Fieldpiece products are built for demanding field use. The Fieldpiece digital micron vacuum gauge features an IP54 over-molded case that resists physical impact damage and water damage.
