The readings of the hot wire probe are transmitted to your measuring instrument via Bluetooth, up to 65 ft. The hot wire probe is equipped with a telescopic extension, which can be extended to 3 ft. The immersion depth is easy to read, even if visibility is poor, thanks to the high-contrast scaling marks. When paired to the 440 Air Velocity and IAQ meter (Sold Separately) clearly structured measurement menus for volume flow enable the measuring instrument to be operated intuitively. The volume flow is precisely calculated thanks to a convenient input feature of the size and geometry of the duct cross-section. Timed and multi-point mean calculation, average volume flow, current reading and min./max. values are displayed in the measuring instrument. Pressing the button on the hot wire probe is a particularly useful feature to operate the measuring instrument. For example, to store individual readings for multi-point mean calculation or to start and stop measurement series for mean calculation over time, just tap the button to begin and end the measurement. Thanks to the integrated sensor protection, when you are not using the hot wire probe, the rotatable protective cap protects the air velocity sensor from mechanical stress.
