When you connect the TRIPLETT Power Panel Power-Sensing In-Line CAT 5/6 Digital Voltmeter to a cable, it will scan each pin on the connector to let you know what's on it before plugging in new equipment. In addition, the in-line voltmeter will also display activity and pair location to promote quick and safe installations.

Senses what's connected to a CAT 5/6 cable, such as a switch, phone or PoE power source
Interacts with devices, scans pins and connects between 2 devices in-line
With in-line connections, the meter allows the passing of PoE power to the PoE device for testing purposes
Measures and displays power draw in watts
Works with both digital and analog phones
Interactive buttons include VoIP phone and IP camera load simulator, plus a link pulse transmit button
