These machines are driven by induction motors that have a grounded electrical system. An integral Ground Fault Interrupter (GFCI) is built into the line cord. A toggle or rotary switch provides FORWARD/OFF/REVERSE control of the motor.
The cable is manually fed in and out of the machine and rotates at a cable speed of 600 to 700 rpm. The rotation of the cable is controlled by a clutch handle. The cable stops instantly when the clutch handle is released.
K-1500 machines come equipped to run 1-1/4" cable to clean 3 to 10" lines through 200'.
