Engineered for performance in harsh environments, this HiTemp140-FR operates within -40 to 284°F (-40 to 140°C) and has a 2" (5.08 cm) fast response probe to quickly adapt and accurately record temperature in changing environments.
The HiTemp140-FR is a high temperature data logger with an ultra-fast response time to record temperature during rapidly changing thermal processes. This high temperature data logger features a 2 x 0.0625" diameter probe and is capable of recording up to 4 Hz, which is 4 times faster than other data loggers in this class. This allows the temperature sensor to quickly adapt and accurately record temperature variations in changing environments.
The HiTemp140-FR can store over 32,000 readings, and features a rigid external probe capable of measuring extended temperatures from -328 to 500°F (-200 to 260°C). The device records date and time stamped readings, and has non-volatile solid state memory which retains data even if the battery becomes discharged.
Using the MadgeTech 4 Software, starting, stopping and downloading the HiTemp140-FR is simple and easy. To use, simply place the HiTemp140-FR in the IFC400 or IFC406 docking station (sold separately). Using the software, an immediate or delay start can be chosen, as well as the reading rate. Start the data logger, remove it from the docking station and the device is ready to be deployed. Graphical, tabular and summary data is provided for analysis and data can be viewed in °C, °F, K or °R. The data can also be automatically exported to Excel® for further calculations.
