Spare sensor with o-ring designed for the HI 9829 multiparameter waterproof meters that measures the ability of water to conduct an electrical current.
A polarographic measurement principle is used by the EC sensor with 4-electrode to ensure stable conductivity readings. The sensor is highly dependent on the amount of dissolved solids (such as salt) in the water. It can also determine absolute conductivity, temperature-corrected conductivity, salinity, seawater and water hardness (TDS).
