Fixed-mount installation lets the Si2a-Pro monitor both partial discharge and pressurized gas leaks around the clock, from a single camera. An array of 124 low-noise MEMS microphones visualizes sound from 2 to 130 kHz and locates faults from 1.0 to 656' (0.3 to 200 m). Partial discharge is classified as surface or internal discharge, positive and negative corona, negative corona or floating discharge, and AI-based severity assessment returns recommended actions. Typical duty is transmission, distribution and substation assets, where insulation faults lead to outages, plus switchgear and gas-insulated equipment, where electrical and gas-related issues both need catching early.
