The BinMaster BMRX-300 Rotary Level Indicator is the first rotary level switch to feature a built-in, high-visibility, LED indicator light. Fail-safe operation, self-diagnostics, and immediate and corrective response to failures distinguish the BMRX-300 as the best rotary level indicator for process control. An integrated, highly-visible LED indicator light transitions between green and red to signal fault, covered, or rotating status conditions. By alerting to full and empty vessel conditions, the BMRX-300 prevents waste and saves time when handling free-flowing bulk solids such as grains, granules, pellets, and powders, stored in bins and silos. It is designed for materials with a bulk density of 2 pounds to over 100 pounds per cubic foot and is approved for level indication use in hazardous locations.
An onboard PCB allows a notification light, a status indication feature, and extra switching options like DPDT relays to be added. A DPDT relay allows the user to set up two switching outputs, controlling two separate circuits or a separate location for each circuit. These relay outputs are designed to be “fail-safe” in case of power failure, defaulting to the output deemed “safe” for a high-level or low-level indicator application. The BMRX-300 rotary level indicator power pack features a screw-off cover, 3/4" (1.91 cm) NPT dual conduit entries, and an FDA-recognized powder coat finish. Once installed, the enclosure can be rotated 360°.
This unique feature makes it easy to ensure conduit entries are always pointed toward the ground, mitigating the risk of moisture damaging internal components. New wire guides also ensure wires don’t get stuck as you push them through conduit entries. BinMaster coupling mounting plates allow the rotary to be top or side-mounted, tailored to specific point-level detection needs, whether vertical, horizontal, or angled installations. The BMRX-300 rotary adapts to light, medium, and heavy-weight bulk material with a wide selection of paddle options.
