Bridging a direct digital controller to a pneumatic actuator, this transducer converts a 0-5 V DC input into a 0-15 psi branch output. A single valve with a 0.010 in bleed orifice gives smooth modulation on small actuators without hunting around the setpoint. A panel gauge shows the delivered pressure during commissioning.

Pneumatic actuators outlive the controls that drive them, and replacing a floor of them costs far more than converting the signal. The PXP Series sits between the two: a direct digital output goes in, regulated branch air comes out, and the existing actuator keeps working. Choosing between the single and dual valve versions comes down to air consumption -- the single valve bleeds continuously through a 0.010 in orifice, while the dual valve holds pressure between corrections and draws air only when the setpoint moves.
