By renting you save time and money by avoiding the hidden costs of ownership such as calibration, repair, and inventory control. Purchases may take time to be approved and issued within your organization, and it may not make sense to purchase equipment that is needed on an infrequent basis or for a one-time project. In addition, each and every rental and its accessories is thoroughly inspected and cleaned before they leave our warehouses. To return your rental, select the courier of your choice and ship to the ITM location nearest to you. Indicate "ATTN: Rental Department" on your packing slip. If you prefer, you can drop the rental off at one of our locations, during our operating hours.

Once your order has been confirmed, we will work with you to select the best shipping method for your order to arrive for the date you require. We offer multiple shipping methods to fit your schedule. Full disclosure - once your order is with the courier, there isn't much we can do. Although couriers are very accurate, on rare occasions mistakes do happen. Bad weather, mechanical failures, we've seen it all! If your shipment is delayed, we will notify you as early as possible. Given this, the best way to 100% guarantee that you get your rental on time is to ask for your delivery date to be a couple days in advance of your deadline.

Be reassured, your rental start date will be adjusted accordingly, and you will not be charged the missed day(s). We thoroughly inspect all of our rentals before we ship them out to you, however there's always the possibility that you experience technical issues with your rental. Whether due to the equipment itself or the settings for your specific application. We're here to help! Simply contact us and we'd be happy to get you back up and running.

Yes, we're open to working with you on this. If you see something in our rental selections that you would be interested in buying used, simply contact us and we'll look into this with you. It never hurts to ask!

We pride ourselves on being as flexible as possible with our customers. Cancelling rental orders is no exception, however they're a little more involved. Once we receive your rental order, the product is reserved for you. Given this, we handle rental cancellations on a case-by-case basis, to keep things fair and reasonable for both parties. The restocking fees are a minimum of 15% of the weekly rate; in some cases, this will be higher if we needed to purchase more equipment to fulfill your order. If your order has shipped, the shipping costs are non-refundable. However, in cases where you reserved the rental in advance, and you gave us ample notice of your cancellation, we may be able to waive the restocking fee.

Unfortunately, we can't do this. Once you place your rental order, we reserve that product for you, which makes it unavailable for other customers to rent during that time. On some rare occasions, some exceptions can be made for very specific circumstances.

Our monthly rental is for a 4-week period (28 days).

In most cases, yes. However, there are a few factors to consider so we ask that you contact us and we'll work with you on this.

We have fulfilled many requests for large-scale projects, but these are unique cases which require time and planning. Depending on the product and quantity, we may need to mix-and-match different brands/models, find an entirely new product, charge set-up costs, etc. We recommend that if you are planning a large project, contact us and we'll provide you with a custom quote for your specific needs. We'll always do our best to make this happen for you.

While placing your order online at, you will review/agree to our simple equipment rental agreement (for offline orders it must be signed and emailed or faxed (514-457-4329) to us). Once done, we will ship your rental directly to your door. For first-time customers, we may contact you to review the rental agreement with you. The day your rental arrives at your door, your rental period begins.

Yes! You'll just need to contact us beforehand to ensure that the equipment you want is at the branch of your choice. To ensure the pick-up process is as quick and easy as possible, simply place your order beforehand, as we'll require about 30 minutes to process your order for you.

You can rent the equipment for as long as you like, starting with 1 week. We've had some customers rent equipment for well over a year. We offer discounts on long-term rentals, contact us and we'll work out the details for you and get you a quote.

Most of our rentals are readily available to ship within 24 hours after your order is placed, often the same day if your order is placed before 2PM EST. In some cases we may have a delay due to factors out of our control. Don't forget to factor in the transit time for your rental to reach you.
We know that sometimes you might have strict timelines to work with. For any rush requests, next-day deliveries, or to confirm any specific requirements, don't hesitate to contact us.

The vast majority of our rentals include a certificate of calibration. The only exceptions are products that can't be calibrated or that don't require calibrating. For these products, the manufacturer's certificate of calibration or conformity will be included. Products are regularly added into our rental lineup to immediately meet a customer needs, this means we may not have time to calibrate it right away. If you require a calibration certificate, put a note in the comment box at the checkout or let us know.

On the last day of your rental period. Good news, the time spent in transit doesn't affect your rental period. Simply ship your rental back to the nearest ITM location on the last day of our rental agreement.

No, our minimum rental period is one week. On some rare situations we may allow for an exception. Typically for local pick-ups & drop-offs, and only dependent on product availability.

We will charge your card once your rental order has left our warehouse. If you're extending your rental period, you will be charged after confirming the revised rental period details. For late fees, your card will automatically be charged on a weekly basis, every week following the original end date. For more information on how late fees are calculated, click here.

No problem! Simply contact us and we'll look into this for you. Keep in mind that on some rare occasions, the rental might already be reserved. To avoid this contact us as soon as possible before your due date. This will also ensure that no late fees are incurred.

Contact us right away! This ensures we are aware, and we can discuss the situation with you and go over potential solutions. If the courier caused a delay, you will not pay penalties for this. If we don't hear from you, we will offer you a one-day grace period (calculated from the estimated return date based on transit time from your location to us) before you are charged late fees. Late fees are equal to 20% of the weekly rental rate for each day the equipment is late. You will continue to be charged late fees until the rental is returned. In the event we cannot receive payment for the late fees, we will contact you for updated payment information. Click here to review the rental agreement for more information.

Qualifying Products
The product brand, model and accessories must be identical to what we are offering.


  • All prices must be in the same currency as our website.
